Fleasion v2.4.1 Update: Roblox Hotfix, Languages & FastFlags

Updated Oct 20, 2026

Fleasion v2.4.1 was released on October 20, 2026. This is the compatibility hotfix for the Roblox update that broke Fleasion's proxy trust path, plus the accumulated work since v2.4.0: nine new UI translations, FastFlag folders and named actions, Linux/Sober font and login improvements, full texture mip handling, and a broad stability pass for Windows, macOS and Linux.

The immediate reason to update is simple: v2.4.1 makes Roblox use the CA bundle patched by Fleasion even when custom FastFlags are turned off. If v2.4.0 stopped routing assets after the Roblox change, install v2.4.1 before changing proxy modes or rebuilding profiles.

What changed in Fleasion v2.4.1

Area v2.4.1 change What it means in practice
Roblox compatibility Fleasion forces the external CA-bundle setting The Player keeps trusting Fleasion's locally patched certificate bundle after the breaking Roblox update
Languages Nine translations, ten UI languages total Choose English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Kazakh, Turkish, German, French, Simplified Chinese or Polish
FastFlags Folders and named value actions Toggle an organized group, or apply a reusable set of values from one action
Textures Full mip chains and more Sober formats Replacements retain the smaller distance textures Roblox requests; more captured textures can be decoded and exported
Linux/Sober Custom fonts and local cookie-store support Linux users gain font replacement and a Sober-aware login path with strict file-safety checks
Reliability Launch, UI-thread, preview and platform fixes Fewer hangs, missed overrides, black previews and platform-specific startup failures

The Roblox hotfix keeps Fleasion's patched CA bundle active

Roblox can receive client settings before it starts normal asset traffic. Fleasion v2.4.1 now adds DFFlagHttpUseEmbeddedCaCerts=False to those settings after user flags and folder filters are processed. In practical terms, Roblox is directed to its external cacert.pem file — the bundle Fleasion patches with its local proxy certificate — instead of silently falling back to an embedded trust store.

This compatibility flag is separate from the custom FastFlag switch. Turning custom flags off no longer disables the certificate setting needed by the proxy. On Windows and macOS, Fleasion seeds the startup settings even when custom flags are disabled. On Linux, Sober interception waits until the client's bootstrap period has finished before compatibility and user flags are delivered.

This does not install a system-wide root certificate. The trust change remains inside Roblox's own CA bundle, as described in the v2.4.0 Env Proxy architecture.

Fleasion now has ten interface languages

English remains the fallback language, with complete catalogs added for:

New users choose a language before the rest of first-run setup. Existing users can change it in Settings and restart Fleasion to apply the new catalog across the application. The localization layer keeps internal values separate from translated labels, so a translated menu does not change the canonical names stored in configs.

The first-run dialog is also scrollable. That matters on small displays: the setup instructions and acknowledgment no longer fall below the usable window.

FastFlag folders and actions organize large flag sets

FastFlag folders group related flags under one name.

On Windows and Linux, a folder can be enabled or disabled with its checkbox or a global hotkey.

Disabling a folder filters all of its member flags before the settings response is sent to Roblox.

Custom actions solve a different problem. An action stores a named patch — several flag/value pairs that are applied together. Actions can have optional global hotkeys on Windows and Linux. If two actions write the same FastFlag, the value from the most recently triggered action wins because it is merged into the current saved values last.

The editor also moves JSON import and export into one menu, opens an action's hotkey editor on a double-click, restores boolean editing, and avoids the slowdown that large flag lists could cause.

Risk boundary: folders and actions make custom FastFlags easier to manage; they do not make every flag safe. Roblox and individual games can act on client modifications. Review imported values and read the FastFlag safety guidance before enabling a shared pack.

Texture replacements now include the distance mip chain

Roblox does not use only the largest texture. It requests progressively smaller mip levels as an object moves away from the camera. v2.4.1 generates the full KTX2 mip chain for replacements instead of supplying only the top level.

The filtering depends on the map type:

For Sober captures, Fleasion adds ETC2/Zstandard and Gamma2YCoCg decoding. It archives every downloaded TexturePack mip payload for export while keeping the highest-resolution copy as the canonical slot. Cached files are also classified by their detected payload rather than blindly trusting an incorrect asset type reported by Roblox, so preview and export controls match the actual image, mesh or audio data more often.

Custom font replacement now works with Sober's packaged resources. Fleasion materializes the required font-family manifests, points them at the custom font, and keeps enough state to restore the original files cleanly.

Fleasion can also read Roblox login tokens from Sober's local cookie storage alongside supported browser sources. Account switching validates ownership, permissions, symbolic links, hard links and file-change races before replacing .ROBLOSECURITY. If Sober uses libsecret, Fleasion refuses to copy a session token into the plaintext cookie file. That fail-closed behavior is intentional.

After an unclean shutdown, Linux startup now recovers stale Sober proxy overrides. Opening a file or folder also has timeout and fallback handling when the desktop opener hangs or is unavailable.

Platform fixes remove launch races and preview crashes

The remainder of v2.4.1 is a reliability release rather than one headline feature:

Asset downloads also reject upstream DNS answers that point back to Fleasion's own local proxy. When necessary, they can fall back to the configured HTTP CONNECT proxy instead of looping into themselves.

Source audit separates product code from generated bulk

The official v2.4.0…v2.4.1 comparison contains 70 commits across 206 files. The headline diff is large because it includes ten full translation catalogs, tests and repository tooling. Breaking the local tag comparison down makes the work easier to interpret:

Diff group Files Additions Deletions
Product source, excluding translation layer 67 12,060 4,237
Localization module and language catalogs 12 18,879 0
Tests 47 8,204 402
Build, docs and other project files 14 450 295
Repository agent/tooling files 66 9,905 0
Whole tag comparison 206 49,498 4,934

Those numbers measure repository change, not user-visible functionality. The compatibility flag, platform fallbacks and regression tests matter more than the raw line count.

Frequently asked questions

What did the breaking Roblox update change for Fleasion?
It disrupted the proxy trust path. v2.4.1 explicitly tells Roblox to use the external CA bundle patched by Fleasion, and keeps that compatibility setting active even when custom FastFlags are disabled.

Should I update from Fleasion v2.4.0?
Yes, especially if asset routing stopped after the Roblox update. v2.4.1 contains the compatibility hotfix and all stability work accumulated after v2.4.0.

How do I change the Fleasion language?
Choose it during first launch, or open Settings, select a language and restart Fleasion. English is the fallback if a locale or translation key is unavailable.

Do FastFlag actions make custom flags safe from bans?
No. Actions only apply named value sets more conveniently. Roblox and game rules still apply, and no third-party tool can guarantee that a custom flag is safe.

Does v2.4.1 fix Fleasion on Windows ARM64?
It fixes the startup failure caused by loading the wrong PortAudio library. If a compatible audio backend is unavailable, Fleasion now opens with audio preview disabled instead of crashing.
