Fleasion and Fast Flags, Explained

Updated Jul 20, 2026

We get asked about "Fleasion fast flags" constantly, so let's clear it up in one line: the launcher-style fast flags most people mean aren't set in Fleasion at all — they live in a bootstrapper like Bloxstrap or Voidstrap. Fleasion's own job is swapping assets. (It does also ship a small set of performance FastFlags in its Modifications tab — that's a separate thing we cover in the max FPS guide.) People blur all of this into one idea, so knowing which does what saves you a lot of confusion — and helps you understand the ban talk, too.

One number puts it in perspective: across the 32 community Fleasion guides we've catalogued, fast flags or a strap come up in only 7, and a specific strap by name in just 1. Fast flags ride along with Fleasion far less than the "fleasion fflags" searches suggest — they're a separate tool that gets blurred into it, which is exactly the confusion this page is here to fix.

The short version

So when someone says "Fleasion fflags," they almost always mean "I'm running Fleasion and some fast flags from a strap." The two aren't the same program, and neither one needs the other to work.

What fast flags are actually for

Fast flags tweak how the client renders and behaves — the popular ones are performance and visibility settings: FPS uncap, lower render distance, disabling certain visual effects, and "potato graphics" looks. If you've seen a "no textures for FPS" fast flag, that's a client-render flag stripping detail to boost frames — it changes how Roblox draws the world, not which assets it downloads.

Fleasion, by contrast, never touches your client's settings. It answers asset requests with different files. Same end result sometimes (a cleaner, faster-looking game), completely different mechanism.

No-textures: two roads, and they're not the same

This trips everyone up, so here's the honest breakdown. You can get a "no textures" look either way:

If your goal is frames, that's a fast-flag job (start with our max FPS guide). If your goal is a specific look — clean walls, no arms, a particular skin — that's Fleasion. Plenty of people run both.

Using Fleasion and a strap together

They don't conflict. A common setup is: a bootstrapper handles your fast flags and launches Roblox, while Fleasion sits in the tray and swaps assets. If you're new to fast flags, straps usually have a Fast Flag editor where you can import a JSON config — you paste the flags in, save, and launch. Communities share these JSON snippets the same way they share Fleasion configs.

One thing to keep straight: if you use a strap, Roblox is being launched by the strap, so make sure Fleasion is running first so your swaps still route through the proxy. And clear your Roblox cache after changes, as always.

About the ban talk — the honest version

Here's where the distinction really matters. When you see "I got banned using Fleasion," it's worth asking what were they actually running. In the cases we've seen shared around, the risk tends to cluster on third-party launchers and unofficial builds — for example, people pointing at a strap like Voidstrap, or a fake "Fleasion" they grabbed from a mirror — rather than stock cosmetic swaps. Fast flags are a client modification too, and that's a separate decision you're making from using Fleasion.

We'll say what we always say: Fleasion itself is designed to be non-cheat and cosmetic, and there's no published Roblox policy either way — but nothing here is a guarantee, and the more third-party tools you stack, the more variables you add. Read our safety page for the full, unspun take.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fleasion have fast flags? Sort of — Fleasion has its own small set of performance FastFlags in the Modifications tab (for FPS; see the max FPS guide). But it's not a launcher: the big JSON fast-flag configs people share are applied by a bootstrapper like Bloxstrap, Fishstrap or Voidstrap, not by Fleasion's asset swapping.

Do I need fast flags to use Fleasion? No. Fleasion works entirely on its own. Fast flags are an optional, separate thing some players add for FPS.

Is Fleasion the same as Bloxstrap or Voidstrap? No. Those are bootstrappers that launch Roblox with custom settings (fast flags). Fleasion is a proxy that replaces game assets. They can be used together but do different jobs.

Should I get no-textures from Fleasion or a fast flag? For a specific look, use Fleasion. For raw FPS, a fast flag is the better tool. Many people use both — see our max FPS and no arms / no textures guides.
